Role Description The Live Host role is a full-time, on-site position based in Petaling Jaya. The Live Host is responsible for presenting and hosting live streaming sessions that showcase CARSOME's vehicles, services, and promotions across digital platforms. Day-to-day tasks include preparing scripts and talking points, coordinating with marketing and operations teams, and conducting engaging live product demonstrations. The role involves interacting with audiences in real time, answering questions, and driving interest and conversions through clear communication and persuasive on-air presence. The Live Host also reviews performance metrics, provides feedback on content effectiveness, and supports content planning for future live sessions.

Qualifications

• Strong on-camera presence with excellent verbal communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.
• Ability to engage live audiences, respond to real-time comments, and build rapport through interactive hosting.
• Basic understanding of social media and live streaming platforms, including content planning and audience engagement techniques.
• Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prepare scripts and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable discussing automotive products and features; prior experience in retail, sales, or automotive industry is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English; additional regional languages are beneficial.
• Willingness to work on-site in Petaling Jaya and adapt to flexible scheduling based on live event needs.
• Diploma or degree in Communications, Broadcasting, Marketing, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
