Position Summary
The Logistics Assistant is responsible for assisting the Inventory, Inbound, and Outbound Executives in inventory management, inbound/outbound operations, POSM/MDN handling, reverse logistics, and order processing tasks in accordance with agreed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and organizational policies.
You will play an important role to:
- Assist in all day-to-day tasks of logistics operations, including inbound and outbound activities covering local and export deliveries, import container handling, POSM management, reverse logistics, and other value-added tasks such as re-packing, etc.
- Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, 3PL partners, and transporters to ensure timely and smooth logistics operations.
- Ensure that both physical and system inventories are consistently maintained at the highest acceptable level of accuracy.
- Perform daily reconciliation of inbound and outbound transactions for finished goods, POSM, and MDN, ensuring timely and accurate updates in both ERP and WMS systems.
- Ensure timely and accurate posting of all inventory transactions in ERP and WMS for stock movements within logistics, including stock adjustments, inbound and outbound document processing in ERP/WMS, Inter-location and warehouse stock transfers.
- Support and participate in stock count activities at FG warehouses and depots.
- Assist the Superior in preparing inventory-related reports, such as:
- ERP vs WMS transaction matching
- ERP vs WMS storage location matching
- Stock-in-transit report
- Sales and transfer order status
- Inventory aging report
- Stock count summary and reconciliation
- Other ad-hoc reports as required
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and overall logistics efficiency.
- Assist, execute, or lead initiatives and projects related to inventory management, inbound and outbound operations.
- Provide administrative and office support tasks/activities.
- Carry out other duties assigned.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficient in spoken and written Bahasa and English.
- Proficient with MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook.
- At least 2 years experience in FMCG Warehousing / Inventory Management.
- Have at least 2 years of cumulative experience working in Warehousing or Logistics.
- Working knowledge of any integrated ERP/ MRP/ WMS system.
- Organized, process-oriented, and the ability to work independently.
- Analytical and problem-solving.
