Duties and responsibilities
Logistics
- Take the lead role in planning, costing and allocating and vehicles ensuring sufficient flexibility is in place to meet the varying and changing needs of customers.
- Plan, organize and manage the work of the driver to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.
- Direct activities related to dispatching, routing and tracking vehicles.
- Monitor logistic spending to ensure the expenses are consistent with approved budgets.
- Monitor distributions to ensure that drivers comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules and government regulations.
- Allocating and recording resources and movements on the transport planning tracking.
- Ensuring all partners in the supply chain are working effectively and efficiently to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicating effectively with clients and responding to their requirements.
- Plan and liaise with outsourced transporter and ensuring deliver fulfillment within the agreed terms.
- Coordinating and liaising with the sales team for ad-hoc delivery and events.
- Investigate to verify and resolve delivery complaints.
- Attending to any other tasks required by the heads of departments.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma in any field.
- Required language (s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
- Preferably, 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
