Position: Logistics Executive
The Roles & Responsibilities of an Executive - Logistic are as follows and from time to time, your immediate supervisor / management may change and guide you accordingly:
- Handle shipment booking activities accurately and within the agreed KPI.
- Coordinate with customers, origin offices, carriers, and internal stakeholders regarding booking arrangements.
- Ensure all booking details are updated correctly in the system.
- Monitor booking status and follow up on pending or rejected bookings.
- Prepare and validate shipping documentation related to bookings.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely updates.
- Escalate operational issues or delays when necessary.
- Maintain good communication and collaboration with internal and external parties.
- Ensure compliance with SOP and operational guidelines.
- Support team initiatives, cross-training, and process improvements when required.
- Arrange booking of ocean vessels and drayage for export containers and update systems accordingly
- Work closely with internal operations to meet customer's requirements
- Liaise with internal and external party
- Prepare documentation (such as Bill of Lading, Invoice, Packing List, COA, COO, Insurance, Application for Collection, Bank Draft etc)
- Ensure compliance with Customers Standard Operating Procedures
- Proofreading of BL drafts & Approval of BL drafts to Carriers
- Requesting amendment of BL drafts to Carriers (if any)
- Read e-mails several times daily and reply to all emails daily
- Commit to get orders completed in compliance with KPI. Take all possible action to complete orders and log corresponding
- Non-Conformances if third parties are preventing order completion within KPI
