We are seeking an experienced site based
Logistics Manager to support the delivery of a hyperscale data centre construction project. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient coordination, control, and safe movement of materials, plant, and labour across a live, high-pressure construction environment. You will work closely with project and site leadership to ensure logistics operations align with programme delivery.
What you'll be doing as our Logistics Manager:
- Develop and implement the site logistics strategy and execution plan
- Manage material deliveries, storage, and distribution across site
- Coordinate logistics activities in line with project programme
- Control site access, delivery schedules, and booking systems
- Optimise site layout and storage areas
Operational Management
- Oversee daily logistics operations on a large-scale construction project
- Ensure materials are available in line with programme requirements
- Manage inventory control and material tracking
- Support site management in maintaining project workflow
- Coordinate plant, equipment, and labour logistics
Health, Safety and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Implement safe systems of work
- Conduct inspections and risk assessments
- Promote a strong safety culture
What we're looking for in our Logistics Manager:
- Proven logistics management experience in construction or data centres
- Experience on large-scale or complex projects
- Strong delivery coordination and inventory management capability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Qualifications
- CSCS Card (essential)
- SSSTS / SMSTS (preferred)
- Relevant construction or logistics qualification (desirable)
