Job Description

The Logistics Project Manager is responsible for leading regional logistics transformation across the ASEANZ region, overseeing end-to-end project execution, technology implementation, and cost optimization initiatives. It drives strategic projects such as network transitions, 3PL and transport tenders, and operating model enhancements across multiple countries, while building robust logistics analytics capabilities to support data-driven decision-making. The position also governs the regional logistics project pipeline, ensuring structured execution, strong stakeholder alignment, and delivery of efficiency, visibility, and cost improvements.

What You'll Do

  • You will lead end-to-end logistics tender and contract management across ASEANZ markets, including RFP/RFQ development with Regional Procurement, vendor evaluation, negotiation, and contract execution for 3PL warehousing, domestic transport, and logistics project providers.
  • You will oversee provider transitions in partnership with local stakeholders, including implementation planning, SLA framework design, KPI governance setup, and hyper care support during go-live.
  • You will maintain the regional logistics contract register and provider performance scorecards.
  • You will drive ongoing provider governance with 3PL and transport partners through structured performance reviews, SLA tracking, continuous improvement initiatives, and proactive contract renewal and escalation management.
  • You will lead the deployment of logistics technology and systems across markets, including transport management, warehouse management, and freight visibility platforms, in collaboration with country teams, IT, and vendors.
  • You will develop business cases, ROI models, and executive-level presentations to support investment decisions.
  • You will build user capability and readiness across country teams to ensure successful system adoption and go-live execution.
  • You will develop and manage regional logistics cost analytics, including freight cost models, forecasts, and annual budgeting inputs to support data-driven decision-making.
  • You will support cost-out initiatives through savings tracking and preparation of net benefit reporting across logistics operations.
  • You will monitor and report logistics KPIs and operational spend against budget targets across the region.
  • You will lead logistics network optimization initiatives, including warehouse footprint analysis, cross-border flow design, and routing studies to identify cost efficiencies and service improvements.
  • You will maintain and govern the ASEANZ logistics project pipeline, including project charters, RACI frameworks, status reporting, and risk logs, ensuring clear visibility for the Head of Logistics & Customer Service and ASEANZ Supply Chain leadership.
  • You will provide structured project management support for country-level logistics transformation initiatives across the ASEANZ region. You will coordinate cross-functional project workstreams with country logistics managers, GBS customer service, finance, and IT teams.

What We're Looking For

  • You have a minimum of 7 years of experience in logistics, supply chain operations, or project management roles, with at least 3 years in a regional or multi-country capacity within Southeast Asia or APAC.
  • You have demonstrated experience leading end-to-end logistics tender processes, including 3PL warehousing, domestic transport, and international freight from RFP development through contract execution and transition management.
  • You have a proven track record of delivering logistics or supply chain technology implementations (e.g. transport management systems, warehouse management systems, ERP logistics modules) in a project management capacity, including vendor management and stakeholder engagement.
  • You have a strong background in logistics cost analysis, freight benchmarking, cost forecasting, and budget planning, with the ability to model logistics cost scenarios, quantify financial impact, and present investment business cases to senior leadership.
  • You have experience working across diverse ASEAN markets, with an understanding of local logistics landscapes, customs environments, and regulatory frameworks in markets such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
  • You have exposure to logistics network optimization, including warehouse footprint analysis, cross-border flow design, and transport routing studies across a multi-country region.
  • You have prior exposure to a matrix organization structure and cross-functional project governance, which is advantageous.

What Will Set Your Apart

  • You possess a deep understanding of supply chain and logistics management, including 3PL operations, transport network design, warehousing models, customs and cross-border compliance, and multimodal freight cost management. You are also familiar with supply chain optimization methodologies such as lean and continuous improvement.
  • You stay abreast of industry trends, emerging logistics technologies, and best practices in supply chain management, and understand the impact of global trade policies, sustainability initiatives, and market disruptions on logistics operations.
  • You demonstrate strong business acumen, with the ability to translate logistics data into commercial insights including identifying cost-out opportunities, developing ROI models, and analyzing net landed costs to support strategic decision-making.
  • You have hands-on experience with logistics technology platforms, including transport management and/or warehouse management systems, and can evaluate vendor solutions, lead user acceptance testing, and manage go-live execution. Familiarity with ocean freight visibility tools and ERP logistics modules is advantageous.
  • You are proficient in data analysis and modelling, including Excel-based financial modelling, logistics cost forecasting, and budget planning, and are comfortable using BI/reporting tools to build KPI dashboards and operational analytics. You can model cost scenarios, quantify financial impacts, and present complex data in clear, executive-level formats.
  • You have experience managing tender and contract processes, including RFP/RFQ development, evaluation frameworks, and a solid understanding of contract terms and SLA structures relevant to 3PL and transport agreements.
  • You are familiar with logistics network optimization principles, including warehouse footprint rationalization, cross-border flow optimization, and transport routing analysis, with the ability to identify structural cost savings and service improvement opportunities across a multi-country network.
