We are looking for a Logistics Specialist to handle import and export operations for Malaysia, including shipping documentation, shipment coordination, and compliance processes. The role requires strong knowledge of shipping procedures, incoterms, and the ability to work independently with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and prepare shipping documents; coordinate with runners and follow up on VTA certification
- Manage daily import and export shipping operations for Malaysia
- Prepare shipping documentation including booking forms, bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, ISF, shipping instructions, loading plans, and CBM calculations
- Coordinate and track shipment movements; provide timely updates and documents to customers
- Liaise closely with warehouse teams to ensure on-time distribution
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Qualification:
- Familiar with shipping incoterms; connections with Malaysia port officers are an advantage
- Strong understanding of shipping and logistics processes
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping and logistics operations
- Resourceful, organized, and able to work independently
- Strong time management, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in both English and Mandarin
- Ability to communicate in Chinese is preferred. Able to communicate in English and Malay.
