Tasks
What you'll do:
- Lead airport station operations, ensuring safety, security, service quality, regulatory compliance, and on-time performance
- Drive customer-centric service delivery, premium passenger handling, complaint resolution, and operational excellence
- Monitor and improve operational processes, manage irregular operations, contingency planning, special flights, and stakeholder communication
- Oversee service providers, ensure SLA compliance, conduct quality reviews, and achieve operational KPIs and safety targets
- Manage station budgets, cost controls, revenue opportunities, contract administration, and invoice approvals
- Ensure compliance with safety management systems, ground operations manuals, emergency response plans, and regulatory requirements
- Lead, develop, and motivate teams through workforce planning, training, performance management, and talent development
- Coordinate with airlines, airport authorities, government agencies, and business partners to support operational and commercial objectives
Requirements
The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in airline, airport, or ground operations, including demonstrated leadership and team management experience
- Must possess legal work permit in Malaysia
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage cross-functional teams in a dynamic operational environment
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Willingness and ability to travel as required
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to work under pressure and manage operational irregularities effectively
