Job Description

Remuneration Package

  1. Salary during the first 4 months of probation: RM4,000
  2. Upon completion of probation and without passing the appraisal test: RM4,200 - RM5,000
  3. Upon completion of probation and passing the appraisal test: RM4,700 - RM5,700
  4. Climb the ranks within 2 years to become a store manager (performance-based).
  5. Further promotion to upper management may be offered based on individual performance.

Job Responsibilities

Purchase

  1. Learn and master appraiser's skill set to assess value of luxury goods across multiple brands, based on authenticity and condition
  2. Answering to phone and messaging app enquiries of customers looking to sell their pre-loved goods
  3. Build trust and develop long-term relationships with customers, providing excellent service and support to clients
  4. Achieve monthly target for purchasing of goods

Requirements:

  1. No experience required, training will be provided.
  2. No education requirement as long as they are at N3 level of Japanese Language and possess a positive and sedate personality
  3. Outgoing and positive attitude, able to converse with and engage customers with ease
  4. Able to speak and understand intermediate Japanese for external and internal communication with Japanese speaking colleagues/ customers.
  5. Good communication skills and willing to learn
  6. Willing to work on weekends and public holidays

Additional Information

  1. The 4-month probation period consists of hands-on training at our Kuala Lumpur HQ before deployment to the Penang outlet. Accommodation and travel-related expenses will be covered by the company

Working hours:

  1. 8-10 rest days per month
  2. 8 working hours + 1 hour lunch break
  3. Standard working hours: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  4. For shops located in shopping malls, working hours will be arranged in two shifts: - Morning Shift: 10am 7pm | Night Shift: 11am/12pm/1pm onwards (subject to mall operating requirements)

Working Location: Penang Island. Exact location (TBC) either in Gurney mall or shoplots.
