About The Role
We are seeking a committed and hands-on Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer to support construction project delivery on-site. This role requires active involvement in daily site activities, including outdoor work, inspections, and coordination with stakeholders to ensure project quality, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Leader in planning and sequencing construction activities in accordance with the Project Safety Quality Plan (PSQP)
- Liaise with client representatives, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Participate in inspections and internal audits to ensure compliance with the Integrated Management System (IMS) standards
- Conduct inspections of M&E works carried out by subcontractors
- Coordinate the handover of completed M&E works to clients
- Ensure the use of updated drawings (including shop drawings) and maintain proper documentation in line with IMS requirements
- Attend to and follow up on mechanical & electrical rectification works
- Support day-to-day project site operations and ensure timely project execution
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, MEP Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in construction project management
- Experience in commercial buildings is preferred; exposure to data centers or semiconductor projects is an added advantage
- Willingness to work on-site nationwide (company-provided accommodation)
- Physically capable and willing to work outdoors under construction site conditions
- Able to commit to extended working hours when required, including weekends and public holidays
