M&E Engineer (Mandarin Speaker)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate local M&E subcontractors to ensure installation works are executed in accordance with project schedules, drawings, and specifications.
• Resolve technical conflicts between M&E systems and civil or steel structure works during construction.
• Ensure all electrical and mechanical installations comply with Malaysian MS standards, electrical regulations, and project safety requirements.
• Supervise and monitor on-site M&E installation progress, quality, and safety performance.
• Provide technical clarifications and conduct briefings for installation teams throughout construction.
• Assist in system inspections, testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
• Prepare installation reports, progress records, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of M&E installation experience in industrial projects, factories, warehouses, or data centers.
• Familiar with on-site coordination between M&E works and civil or steel structure construction.
• Ability to read and interpret M&E drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of Malaysian electrical standards, MS regulations, and site safety requirements.
