About The Role
As an M&E Engineer, you will support the reliable operation of mechanical and electrical systems within a semiconductor manufacturing facility. You will work closely with facilities, operations, and vendors to ensure all utilities and infrastructure meet manufacturing, safety, and cleanroom requirements.
What You Will Do
- Support operation and maintenance of mechanical systems such as HVAC, chilled water, compressed air, exhaust, and vacuum systems.
- Assist in maintaining electrical systems including power distribution, UPS, generators, and lighting.
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Support cleanroom facility operations to meet semiconductor manufacturing standards.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance, repair, and installation works.
- Assist in tool hook-up, facility modification, and new equipment installation activities.
- Ensure all work complies with safety, EHS, and regulatory requirements.
- Support documentation, reports, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 23 years of experience in M&E, facilities, or manufacturing engineering (semiconductor or high-tech industry preferred).
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in an industrial or cleanroom environment.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Hands-on, proactive mindset with good problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams and vendors.
