We are looking for an experienced M&E Engineer / Manager with a strong technical and project management background to join our team in Malaysia. This role focuses on overseeing the complete lifecycle of mechanical and electrical systems in our construction projects, from design coordination to on-site execution and commissioning.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee the planning, installation, and commissioning of M&E systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection systems).
- Review M&E design drawings to ensure compliance, buildability, and coordination between services.
- Manage the project schedule, on-site M&E teams, and subcontractors.
- Handle technical queries, conduct site inspections, and ensure all work adheres to quality and safety standards
- Collaborate with design teams, consultants, clients, and contractors on all technical and coordination matters.
What You Need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in M&E coordination or project management within the construction industry.
- Essential: Direct experience in managing M&E system execution on-site.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian building codes and international standards, construction processes, and project management principles.
- Willingness and ability to be based overseas for projects as required by the company.
- Advantageous: Ability to speak Japanese and/or previous overseas working experience.
