The M365 Business Analyst acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful implementation and optimization of Microsoft 365 solutions.
This role focuses on gathering requirements, designing workflows, and driving adoption of M365 tools such as Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering & Analysis
o Elicit, document, and translate business requirements into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
o Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to define use cases and productivity gaps.
Solution Design & Implementation
o Collaborate with technical teams to design M365-based solutions aligned with business goals.
o Leverage Power Platform and automation tools to optimize workflows.
Stakeholder Engagement
o Act as liaison between business users, IT, and development teams.
o Present solution concepts and business cases to leadership.
Testing & Validation
o Coordinate and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solution readiness.
Governance & Compliance
o Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and governance standards.
Training & Adoption
o Develop training materials and best practices to drive effective use of M365 tools.
Continuous Improvement
o Stay updated on M365 advancements and lead proof-of-concept initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience: 5+ years as a Business Analyst, preferably in enterprise-scale digital transformation.
Technical Knowledge: Proven experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook) and Power Platform.
Methodologies: Strong understanding of BAU and Project activities, familiarity with Service Now tools.
Frameworks: Knowledge of ITIL processes for incident, request, and change management.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
