ROLE =*M365 Business Analyst –
Job Description*
Position Summary
The M365 Business Analyst serves as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to analyze, design, and optimize solutions within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
*Key Responsibilities*
Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
Engage with business units to understand processes, workflows, pain points, and improvement opportunities.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications for M365 solutions.
Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions with stakeholders.
Prioritize requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Solution Design & Implementation
Design and document M365-based solutions (SharePoint sites, Teams structure, workflow automation, etc.).
Support configuration and deployment of M365 tools in collaboration with IT and development teams.
Ensure solutions follow best practices for governance, security, and compliance.
User Adoption & Change Management
Create user guides, training plans, and documentation for new or updated solutions.
Conduct end-user training and provide ongoing support.
Work with the Change Management team to develop rollout and communication strategies.
Enable adoption of collaboration tools and promote best practices.
Assist in managing M365 governance policies, lifecycle management, and data quality.
Monitor platform usage and recommend improvements for performance and adoption.
*Required Skills & Qualifications*
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably focusing on Microsoft 365.
Strong understanding of M365 applications: SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, etc.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
Experience with process analysis, workflow modeling, and business process improvement.
