About Us
We are launching a large-scale vending machine company operating across Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. Our first machines will be IJooz AI-powered fresh orange juice machines. This is a unique opportunity to join us at the ground level and help scale a new business from startup phase to market leader.
Why This Role is Exciting:
- You will be the first employee and will have full ownership of vending machine operations.
- Within 12 months, you could grow into a Manager leading a team of machine operators.
- Exceptional candidates will be considered for a CEO role within 2 years, as we build this company together.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete the Food Handling Permit and IJooz training to master all aspects of machine cleaning, maintenance, and operations.
- Take full accountability for all machine operations, ensuring machines are always operational, clean, and fully stocked.
- Pick up oranges from the warehouse and restock each machine every 23 days (initially 3 machines in 2025).
- Clean and maintain machines at every restocking visit; troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues independently.
- Monitor machine performance via the iJooz software dashboard, proactively making decisions on which machines require restocking, servicing, or escalation.
- Coordinate with external technicians and vendors for major technical issues or repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, maintenance schedules, and machine downtime.
- Contribute to process improvements and suggest strategies to improve uptime, efficiency, and customer experience as we scale.
Key Requirements:
- Valid driving licence (car ownership is a bonus; car allowance provided if using own vehicle).
- Basic mechanical or technical experience (able to service, maintain, and troubleshoot machines).
- Comfortable using software dashboards to monitor performance and manage operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and accountability for results.
- High attention to detail and diligence in maintaining hygiene and operational standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
