Role Responsibilities
- Set-up and operate CNC machine to produce precision parts
- Verify conformance of finished work piece to specification using precision instruments (Vernier, Micrometer)
- Responsible for operational activities relating to punching machines
- Liaise with Warehouse and Production to ensure smooth flow of material and component supply
- Improve and sustain housekeeping
- Support in training as and when required
- Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time
Role Requirement
- Minimum 3 years direct working experience operating CNC Turret Punch Machine and in Metal Fabrication Industry.
- Possess knowledge and understanding of engineering specified tolerances
- Able to read and understand Mechanical Engineering Drawings (blueprints)
- Strong understanding of machine set-up, able to effectively change machinery for multiple set-ups with the various products lines and material requirements
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures
- Physically fit to perform all required duties
- Independent self-starter
- Team player, able to work with all levels
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Demonstrate ability to work on assigned welding works and its processes/activities, ensuring minimum errors and quality work in accordance to production deadlines
- Maintain safe workplace practices, adhering to the Company's Health & Safety procedures at all times
