The Machinist is responsible for executing the machining operation as per routing, machined the part as per engineering drawing, and perform dimension inspection.
- Interpret engineering drawing and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T)
- Execute the machining operation as per routing
- Machine the part as per engineering drawing
- Operate CNC machine
- Monitor machining parameter and feedback to programmer if necessary
- Perform dimension inspection
- Perform fixture, tool and part set up
- Maintain the good housekeeping at workplace
- Report all daily activities via MII Systems
- Wearing required PPE while doing the work
- Provide assistance to superior whenever required
- Ensure compliance to all health, safety and environment policies
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years hand on experience in operating CNC milling/turning machine
- Able to perform set up operation on CNC machine.
- Able to Interpret CNC program
- Communicate and understand English language
- Able to work shift
- Experience with Siemens, Fanuc and Mazatrol CNC controller
- Forklift driving
- Experience in operating electric pallet truck
- Computer literate: Autocad, CAM software
Education:
- Diploma/Trade Certificate in Metal or Precision Engineering
