Mainframe Developer

Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications supporting Cards systems. Perform coding, testing, debugging, and implementation using COBOL, JCL, and CICS. Work with VSAM files, sequential datasets, and NoSQL databases where applicable. Prepare and execute batch jobs, job scheduling, and production support activities. Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, and documentation. Support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and production issue resolution. Perform impact analysis for change requests and system enhancements. Ensure compliance with banking standards, security requirements, and audit controls. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including system analysts, testers, and business users.

Required Skills: 3-5 years of development experience in Mainframe z/OS environment. Strong hands-on experience in COBOL, JCL, and CICS. Experience working with VSAM files and sequential datasets. Familiarity with NoSQL databases in enterprise environments. Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies. Experience supporting banking projects, preferably within the Cards domain. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience withCardLinkor Vision Plus systems. Knowledge ofEasytrieve. Exposure to Cards processing systems and transaction flows. Experience in performance tuning and production support in mainframe systems.
