Our Client:
We are partnering with a globally based MNC that specializes in manufacturing of hygiene chemical products. The company is expanding their Malaysia operations and looking for a Maintenance Engineer as part of their strategic growth.
Responsibility:
- Perform daily inspections and monitoring of equipment to ensure optimal performance and address any malfunctions promptly.
- Troubleshoot breakdowns, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Execute preventive and scheduled maintenance activities to reduce machine failure and extend equipment lifecycle.
- Provide technical support in maintaining factory equipment and recommend improvements for reliability and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards during maintenance works.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
- Minimum 3 years of practical experience in plant or facility maintenance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively in resolving technical issues.
- Proficient in planning, organizing, and managing multiple tasks or projects.
- Good knowledge of factory equipment upkeep, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise across departments.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required; ability to communicate in Chinese will be considered an advantage.
