Your Job

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, availability and performance of production equipment to achieve optimum productivity with minimal downtime. This position will lead efforts in preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting and root cause analysis, working closely with production, engineering and quality teams. Additionally, the Maintenance Engineer will oversee projects related to equipment upgrades, capacity expansion, spare parts management and maintenance process improvements.

What You Will Do

  • Plan, schedule, and execute preventive (with PM team) and predictive maintenance activities to ensure equipment uptime and performance.
  • Lead troubleshooting and repair activities during breakdowns, ensuring quick and effective resolution to minimize downtime.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, reduce maintenance costs and improve safety.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to address equipment related issues impacting product quality and output.
  • Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring availability of critical components while optimizing stock levels.
  • Work with vendors and contractors for equipment servicing, upgrades and installation projects.
  • Oversee equipment modifications and upgrades to meet new production requirements or improve efficiency.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation such as maintenance procedures, spare parts lists, equipment history records and machine manual.
  • Provide technical training and guidance to maintenance technicians on troubleshooting techniques, equipment operation and safety practices.
  • Lead and coordinate Maintenance Technician during breakdown and troubleshooting.
  • Support the company's initiatives, including IATF 16949, ISO9001, Six Sigma and Kaizen Project.
  • Support development, improvement and handover of new machine from Manufacturing Engineering Team.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, manufacturing or related engineering field.
  • Experience in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven skills in troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining automated production equipment.
  • Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and perform technical calculations as needed.
  • Proficiency with maintenance related software and tools (e.g., CMMS, CAD, diagnostic equipment)
  • Knowledge of equipment reliability principles and maintenance best practices (TPM, RCM)
  • Strong time management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and organizational abilities, with capability to work effectively in cross functional teams.
  • Fluent in English language skills

What Will Put You Ahead


  • Experience with robotics, PLC programming or automation systems.
  • Certification in predictive maintenance techniques (vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, etc.).
  • Knowledge of lean maintenance practices and continuous improvement methods.
  • Experience in automation machine design and equipment modification for improvement.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, NX)
