We're Hiring: Maintenance Engineer
Sanctuary Health is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities. If you have a strong background in maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and equipment upkeep within a production environment, we welcome your application!
Key Responsibilities:
- Gathers and analyzes data pertaining to machine performance and identified problems.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
- Plans and schedules corrective, preventive, predictive, and proactive maintenance activities, while coordinating daily with manufacturing and maintenance supervision.
- Tracks job request and maintains equipment history files.
- Controls and optimizes maintenance spare parts ordering, stocking, issuing and inventorying.
- Performs root cause analyses for equipment and machines failures. Directs maintenance colleagues towards identified problems.
- Develop, follows established procedures to resolve technical problems. Provide support to operations to increase machine uptime and productivity.
- To be the technical resources for new product start up preparation and pilot-run.
- Provide maintenance support to the operations to achieve minimum downtime and maximum production.
- Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance.
- Ordering specialist components, fixtures or fittings on the improvements of machine process if required.
- Assist in installing and commissioning new equipment.
Qualifications:
- Possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of PLC, HVAC, and automation systems is an advantage.
- Good troubleshooting and Strong problem-solving skills and critical decision making.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and learning ability.
- Proactive approach to safety and equipment reliability.
- Experienced in project management and tools is preferred.
