Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Maintenance Engineer / Section Head located in Ipoh, Malaysia. The Maintenance Engineer / Section Head will be responsible for performing equipment maintenance, coordinating preventive maintenance schedules, and troubleshooting technical issues. Daily responsibilities include overseeing maintenance operations to ensure equipment efficiency, performing inspections, managing repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards at the facility. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance equipment performance and minimize downtime will also be a key aspect of the role.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and experience in Equipment Maintenance and Mechanical Maintenance
  • Proficiency in Maintenance Engineering and Preventive Maintenance techniques
  • Technical skills in Maintenance & Repair and Electrical Maintenance
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and use diagnostics tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) is preferred
  • Experience in semiconductor or manufacturing industries is an advantage
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
