Your Job

As a Senior Maintenance Engineer, you will lead the maintenance team to ensure production equipment operates at peak performance with minimal downtime and maximum reliability. You will oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies, provide technical leadership in troubleshooting and drive continuous improvement in equipment reliability. This position will coordinate closely with production, engineering, supply team and quality teams, while also managing maintenance related projects such as equipment upgrades, capacity expansion, and process enhancements.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and mentor a team of maintenance engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and performance feedback.
  • Develop and implement preventive (with PM team) and predictive maintenance plans to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with production requirements.
  • Oversee and coordinate breakdown response activities, ensuring quick resolution and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and resource allocation for efficient operations.
  • Plan and execute equipment upgrades, retrofits and installation projects to support production growth and technology improvements.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, supply team and quality teams to address equipment related quality issues and optimize performance.
  • Establish and maintain maintenance procedures, technical documentation, and compliance records (ISO, IATF, safety regulations)
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, TPM and Six Sigma to improve maintenance efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Liaise with external vendors and service providers for specialized repairs, equipment procurement and technical support
  • Train and upskill maintenance staff on advanced troubleshooting, safety procedures and new technologies.
  • Support and involve for the development, improvement and handover of new machine from Manufacturing Engineering Team.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, or related engineering field
  • Minimum 5–8 years of maintenance engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of automated production systems, PLC-controlled machinery, and mechanical/electrical troubleshooting
  • Proven track record in implementing maintenance strategies (preventive, predictive, RCM, TPM)
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and perform technical calculations as required
  • Proficiency with CMMS and maintenance-related software tools
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative approach to cross-functional teamwork
  • Fluent English language skills

What Will Put You Ahead


  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing and precision assembly environments
  • Certification in reliability engineering or predictive maintenance techniques
  • Expertise in automation, robotics, or advanced diagnostic tools
  • Demonstrated success in leading maintenance-related continuous improvement projects
  • Experience in automation machine design and equipment modification for improvement.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, NX)
