Automotive Industries Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary company under Toyota Malaysia, is seeking a Maintenance Manager / Assistant Maintenance Manager to join our team. The incumbent of this role will be responsible for planning and overseeing the overall maintenance of our facilities and production line.
Job Description
- Plan, check, and control staff attendance. Enforce human resource rules and SOPs to make sure staff attendance complies with department and company KPI.
- Conduct activities and take counter measures to comply with the legal requirements of government bodies such as the local authority (MBSA), the Department of Safety and Health (DOSH), and the Department of Environment.
- Driven departmental staff to be aware of and contribute to the company-wide safety and health standards and targets. Ensure there are zero accidents at the workplace, road, and lost time injuries.
- Plan and execute general work requests (GWR) from other departments. Make sure all GWRs are completed accordingly comply with the target date and budget.
- Plan, execute, and control departmental cost reduction activities (CRA). Encourage staff to challenge and contribute to CRA target achievement.
- Materials and parts replacement procurement with budget and capital expenditure management and control. To ensure the on-time building of facilities, materials, and parts delivery.
- Building facilities improvement and maintenance. Proposal for new building facilities or production line construction/fabrication.
- Plan, execute, maintain, and control environment-related facilities with minimum impact to the environment and company expenses. Ensure ZERO incidents related to the environment concerned.
Job Requirements
- Possess a recognized Degree in the Mechanical/Electrical or Engineering Field.
- Preferably 15 years of working experience in facilities and maintenance.
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in other languages is an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and comfortable with data reporting.
- Quick thinking in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
