Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for monitoring process yield and process correction, shift.
- Responsible for machine set-up optimization and troubleshooting (process side).
- Perform defect analysis and root cause analysis.
- Perform data analysis (trend and distribution) of critical product parameters (example power, responsivity, drift).
- Responsible for performing DV, machine monitoring checks and SPC.
- Train trainers and operators on new processes.
- Monitoring of First Pass Yield and HPU.
- To fully understand the necessary controls, equipment, precautions, setup parameters to meet the product specifications.
- Responsible in running Engineering Evaluations and DOE.
- Performs machine/process/product buy-off, example: drift check, pull test, shear test, product CTF measurements.
- Generate shift reports: Yield, First Pass Yield/Insertion Yield.
- To participate in Lean Manufacturing projects and cost reduction projects.
Education & Experience
- Diploma in Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical Technology
- Minimum 2 years of experience in related industry and in mass production environment.
- Experience working in a fibre optic transceiver manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
- Good computer literacy especially in SPC related applications.
- Must exhibit a strong sense of data analytical skills with hands on working attitude.
- Adaptable and flexible to rapid changes to the business needs of the company.
- Good knowledge of mechanical dimensioning & tolerancing analysis, poka-yoke principles will be an added advantage.
