Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary:

A Maintenance Supervisor oversees maintenance operations, managing a team of technicians, scheduling repairs, and ensuring equipment reliability. They troubleshoot issues, plan preventive maintenance, manage inventory, maintain compliance, and train staff. Their role is vital for optimizing equipment performance and ensuring smooth facility operations.

• Job Description:

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment throughout the hotel premises to minimize downtime.

• Conduct regular servicing and preventive maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and guest satisfaction.

Perform daily routine checks on essential equipment as per departmental policies and procedures to proactively identify and address potential issues.

• Undertake painting works as necessary to maintain the aesthetic appeal of hotel facilities and guest rooms.

Execute welding and engineering tasks as required to address maintenance and repair needs promptly and effectively.

• Maintain cleanliness and uphold safety standards in all work areas, including mechanical rooms.

• Job Requirement:

Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in maintenance or engineering roles, preferably within the hospitality industry.

Proficiency in painting, welding, and other engineering tasks, with awareness of local environmental and safety regulations.

• Strong leadership, communication skills, with the ability to effectively supervise maintenance teams and prioritize tasks.
