Role: Maintenance Technician Supervisor

About the opportunity
We are looking for a dedicated and hands-on individual to join our team in supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of our plant. In this role, you will help ensure that machineries, equipment, fittings, and tools are maintained in good working condition through scheduled preventive maintenance, while also supporting the operation of our Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) in compliance with environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute machine maintenance activities in accordance with the preventive maintenance schedule.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance checks, and handle machinery servicing as assigned.
- Install, repair, and maintain machinery including mixers, conveyors, filling machines, packaging machinery, and related equipment.
- Coordinate machinery maintenance activities, daily operations, and assigned projects effectively and efficiently.
- Maintain all plant machineries, equipment, and tools in good working condition at all times to support production requirements.
- Implement preventive maintenance measures in compliance with the Machinery Act and DOSH regulations.
- Support uninterrupted machinery operations through effective preventive maintenance activities, including greasing, servicing, painting, anti-rust treatment, calibration, and related tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the maintenance room, workshop, and work areas in line with good housekeeping practices.
- Monitor the proper usage, maintenance, and storage of all tools and equipment in their designated locations within the maintenance room.
- Safeguard all tools and equipment in the maintenance room by ensuring proper cataloguing and accurate inventory control.
- Escalate any potential machinery or equipment failure, breakdown, or issue immediately to the Assistant Manager - Engineering & Facilities.
- Undertake any other assignments or duties as assigned by Management or immediate superior from time to time.
Key Experiences, Skills and Knowledge
- Minimum Diploma qualification with at least 3 years of working experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment, including at least 2 years of hands-on experience in repairing manufacturing plant machinery.
- Proven ability to supervise and coordinate a team of technicians and contractors effectively.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and repair skills with the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- A disciplined team player with a strong sense of responsibility and work ethic.
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
