Job Description:
The Role: Maintenance Technician (Molding) The Maintenance Technician (Molding) is responsible for supporting molding production equipment by ensuring all machines are properly maintained, operated, and repaired in an efficient and effective manner. This role is essential for ensuring continuous production output and minimizing equipment downtime while maintaining a safe and orderly work environment. What You'll Do:
- Maintain all molding process equipment effectively to ensure consistent and reliable production performance.
- Manage and maintain an adequate quantity of spare parts within the required safety levels to minimize equipment downtime.
- Identify and perform troubleshooting on process equipment to minimize disruptions to the production line.
- Carry out barrel changeover activities in support of production requirements.
- Actively participate in departmental and company initiatives, including training and continuous improvement projects.
- Comply with all safety guidelines and ensure proper adherence in daily tasks.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working area. What We Seek:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of training and demonstrated capability to perform the job.
- Diploma or Vocational qualification with a relevant Engineering certificate, or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a shift pattern and respond to call-back requirements when necessary.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to diagnose and correct equipment faults; electrical knowledge is an added advantage.
- Ability to interpret and understand mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical drawings. Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
