Job Description
- Support day-to-day machine monitoring and maintenances to ensure smooth business operation
- Attend to breakdown & maintenance complaints promptly
- Carry out installation and commissioning of new equipment and scheduled maintenance works according to the checklist at designated areas / sites
- Perform minor repair & diagnose faults
- Repair, clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machine where required
- Maintain proper record of machines & machine service history
- Perform ad hoc or other jobs as assigned by the engineer
- Assist Lead Engineers to review Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and maintenance program
- Obtaining, designing special component, fixture, fittings
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or other related field or equivalent experience with Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems
- Experience in a warehouse environment would be an added advantage
- Experience in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and controlling system
- Have strong knowledge in repairing mechanical parts e.g. Conveyor belt, roller, barring etc.
- Have knowledge in Warehouse Controlling Systems / Integration solutions with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Able to read and utilize mechanical & electrical schematics to assist in troubleshooting and resolution of mechanical and electronic components
- Good in Material Flow Control software
- Able to multitask, prioritize workloads and work in a dynamic environment
