Role Description
- This is a full-time on-site role located in Bukit Raja.
- Ensuring preventive maintenance and operations for facilities equipment as per schedule and implementing relevant measures to minimise facilities downtime to production operations;
- Troubleshooting issues relating to electrical power, electronic part, PLC and other similar matters;
- Leading and resolving all issues arising from electrical / electronic faults ;
- Rectifying E & E faults and breakdowns;
- Providing technical support to the production line;
- Analysing processes and implementing improvements which will increase productivity & enhance quality;
- Enhancing & strengthening manufacturing processes to increase efficiencies;
- Ensuring the facilities and site is maintained in accordance with the GMP requirement and Company Standard;
- To play an active role in ensuring all company standards in term of quality, food safety, employee welfare, training, development, health & safety and hygiene are regularly reviewed, updated and adhered to by actively participating in all audits, review meetings and improvement initiatives;
- To comply with all company policies, procedures and regulations and take all necessary precautions to ensure product safety and quality is never compromised in the course of carrying out all your duties and tasks;
- Analysing processes and implementing measures which will effect continuous improvements to efficiencies and product quality, in accordance with Company's Quality & Food Safety Policy as well as our Manufacturing Philosophy; and
- Carrying out all other related tasks as may be required or assigned by your Manager.
Qualifications
- Possess a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance practices.
- Skilled in Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly and effectively.
- Experience with Preventive Maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
- Competence in executing Maintenance & Repair tasks with attention to detail and safety compliance.
- Basic computer skills for documenting maintenance activities and generating reports.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is a plus.
