You will perform Mechanical engineering works, attend breakdowns shift checklist, line walk inspection and preventive maintenance. Your responsibility ranges from maintaining works and product quality, minimum errors and waste management, lead visible health, and safety practices.
What You'll Do
- Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards.
- Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels).
- Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs.
- Maintain heating and plumbing systems.
- Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs.
- Perform manual repairs (fix locks, replace windows).
- Undertake activities of pest control.
- Conduct general upkeep procedures, e.g., landscaping and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry).
What You Need to Succeed
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related disciplines.
- At least 2 years of experience in maintenance of heavy industrial equipment.
- Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems.
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices.
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
