Develop and execute material planning strategies based on customer forecasts, purchase orders, and demand requirements to ensure uninterrupted production.
Coordinate procurement of raw materials, auxiliary materials, and outsourced components while monitoring inventory and supply status.
Track material arrivals and supplier delivery schedules to ensure timely availability for production.
Create and maintain master production schedules (MPS) and detailed manufacturing plans according to customer demand and production priorities.
Conduct capacity planning and resource allocation, balancing manpower, machine utilization, materials, and production capabilities.
Collaborate closely with Customer Service, Production, Procurement, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to align supply with customer requirements.
Monitor project and new product introduction (NPI) schedules to ensure smooth production readiness and execution.
Manage work order creation, release, tracking, and closure while ensuring production plans are executed effectively.
Identify, escalate, and coordinate resolution of production, material, and scheduling issues to minimize disruptions.
Analyze production performance, delivery commitments, and planning metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, or related disciplines.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Production Planning, Material Planning, PMC, or Supply Chain Planning within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of MRP, inventory control, production scheduling, capacity planning, and supply-demand balancing.
Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Experience coordinating with suppliers, production teams, and customer-facing functions in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Able to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin to support regional and customer interactions.
