Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Deliver sourcing and procurement engagements focused on strategic cost reduction, sourcing optimization, and procurement transformation.
  • Lead sourcing initiatives across direct, indirect, and CAPEX procurement, including category management, should-cost modeling, procure-to-pay (P2P) transformation, and spend management.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize sourcing opportunities through spend analysis, market research, and supplier assessments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive business value.
  • Execute strategic cost reduction, zero-based budgeting, and operational value transformation initiatives.
  • Support business development activities, including proposal development, client presentations, staffing, asset development, and knowledge sharing.
  • Address strategic and operational supply chain challenges related to sourcing and procurement.
  • Conduct technology assessments and value analyses to identify opportunities for client value creation.
  • Lead problem definition, issue analysis, and workplan development using structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies, including category management, supplier negotiations, reverse auctions, supplier relationship management, and contract management.
  • Analyze large datasets to generate insights and recommend solutions for supply chain and procurement challenges.
  • Gather and analyze client procurement data, including spend and financial information.
  • Develop supplier market intelligence, pricing benchmarks, and market analyses.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, sourcing processes, and governance standards.Identify and maximize addressable spend across procurement categories.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of progressive industry and/or consulting experience in related industry: preferably in Automotive, IT/High-tech, Industrial/Consumer Goods, Banking and Finance, Retail/General Merchandising Store (GMS), Logistics Services
  • Ability to define and execute end-to-end sourcing and procurement processes including category management and procurement analytics, supplier management, sourcing, contracts & order/goods receipt/invoice management
  • Strong technical understanding of factors driving pricing and possess experience in direct negotiations with suppliers.
  • Excellent data analytics, data interpretation and insights finding skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to think on their feet and able to develop creative solutions
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skill
  • Cross-cultural competence with an ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrate strong ability to interpret business case solutions into quantifiable customer values.
  • Should be diplomatic, flexible, and have a good team approach.
  • Demonstrate a strong track record of solving complex business issues and delivering client satisfaction.
