The MIS Executive Inventory & Planning will provide comprehensive support to the merchandising and planning teams in managing inventory, tracking sales performance, and ensuring accurate data reporting. This role plays a key part in enabling timely business decisions by delivering critical reports, ensuring pricing accuracy, and coordinating purchase order processes.
Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Prepare and publish Weekly Trade Reports highlighting overall business performance trends.
- Generate and share Weekly Sell-Thru Reports to monitor product sell-through and identify slow-moving lines.
- Compile GRN Status & Inward Reports weekly to track goods receipt and stock movement from supplier to store.
- Publish Rate of Sale (ROS) for key categories weekly to support replenishment and markdown decisions.
- Create Event Performance Trackers after each event to measure sales impact, category performance, and ROI.
Inventory & Purchase Order Management
- Raise Local Purchase Orders (POs) daily, ensuring accuracy and timely processing in line with company guidelines.
- Track PO status and follow up with suppliers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies or delays.
- Update and maintain product pricing in the system daily to ensure price accuracy across all selling platforms.
- Support allocation and replenishment processes based on sell-thru performance and ROS analysis.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Liaise with merchandising, warehouse, and store operations teams to ensure optimal inventory flow and timely stock replenishment.
- Assist in preparation of ad-hoc analysis and reports to support business reviews and management meetings.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of all inventory and sales-related data in the system.
