Hytech is seeking exceptional graduates to join our Legal & Compliance Management Trainee Program. This role is designed for high-potential individuals who aspire to build a career within Legal, Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, and Governance functions in a dynamic financial services and technology environment.

As a Management Trainee, you will work closely with experienced legal and compliance professionals on business-critical initiatives, regulatory matters, and strategic projects. You will gain broad exposure across multiple functions while contributing directly to the organisation's legal, regulatory, and governance objectives.

This is an opportunity to develop a strong foundation in a fast-growing and highly regulated industry while building the capabilities required for future specialist and leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Legal and Compliance teams in delivering regulatory, governance, and business initiatives across the organisation.
  • Conduct legal, regulatory, and industry research to support business decision-making and risk management activities.
  • Assist in the review, preparation, and maintenance of policies, procedures, contracts, and other legal or compliance documentation.
  • Participate in regulatory compliance reviews, monitoring activities, and internal control assessments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across business, operations, technology, and risk functions to support key projects and initiatives.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and management updates for internal stakeholders and senior management.
  •  Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, governance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support the implementation of new regulatory requirements and business initiatives across different jurisdictions where applicable.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives that contribute to the organisation's growth and transformation.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law, Accounting, Information Technology (AI) or a related discipline.
  • First Class Honours (or equivalent academic achievement) is required.
  • Fresh graduates or candidates with up to one year of work experience are encouraged to apply.

  • Strong interest in financial services, fintech, regulatory compliance, legal advisory, or governance-related fields.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential, initiative, and a proactive approach to learning and problem solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
  • Fluency in both Mandarin and English, written and spoken.
