SOLAR ASSET & OPERATIONS MANAGER (LOCAL MALAYSIAN TALENT PREFERRED)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Solar Asset & Operations Manager to manage and optimize the performance of our solar PV portfolio. This role is responsible for overseeing operations, maintenance, budgeting, compliance, and stakeholder coordination to ensure high plant performance and reliability.
This role requires frequent travel to project sites in Kerian, Manjung, and Sabah.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations and maintenance of solar assets
- Monitor plant performance and ensure generation targets are met
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs
- Prepare and manage O&M and asset budgets
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
- Review performance reports and resolve operational issues
- Support the finance team in reporting and compliance
- Ensure regulatory and contractual compliance
Job Requirements
- Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems and monitoring platforms
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills
- Ability to manage multiple sites and lead technical teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in solar asset / facilities / operations management
- Degree in Engineering or related technical field
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)
- Experience in utility-scale and distributed solar projects
