Manager/Assistant Manager - Investment & Financial Analyst

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Group as an Investment & Financial Analyst, where you will work closely with the Chief Investment & Property Officer (CIPO) and gain broad exposure to investment opportunities, portfolio management, corporate finance, property initiatives and strategic business projects.

You will play an important role in transforming financial data, market intelligence and business insights into meaningful recommendations that support investment decisions and create long-term value for the Group.

• Direct exposure to senior management – Work closely with the CIPO and contribute to strategic investment and business decisions.
• Diverse investment exposure – Analyse investment opportunities across different asset classes, sectors and markets, including local and international opportunities.
• End-to-end financial analysis – Develop financial models, valuations, feasibility studies and investment analyses to assess potential opportunities.
• Strategic project exposure – Be involved in M&A, new business ventures, corporate finance, property development and other strategic initiatives.
• Portfolio management experience – Monitor the performance of existing investments and identify opportunities to enhance returns and value.
• Strong industry network – Engage with fund managers, investment banks, research houses, financial institutions, consultants and other industry professionals.

The Investment & Financial Analyst will support the Chief Investment & Property Officer (CIPO) in evaluating, monitoring and managing investment opportunities across various asset classes.

The role will be involved in investment research, financial modelling, valuation, portfolio performance analysis, market intelligence, corporate finance, property-related initiatives and strategic business projects.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on high-impact assignments and provide insights and recommendations that support informed decision-making, business growth and value creation for the Group.

1. Conduct research, analysis and evaluation of investment opportunities across various asset classes, both locally and internationally.
2. Develop and maintain financial models, valuations, feasibility studies and investment analyses to assess potential investments and business opportunities.
3. Monitor and analyse the performance of the Group's investment portfolio and provide recommendations to optimise returns and manage risks.
4. Prepare investment papers, management reports, presentations, dashboards and portfolio performance reviews for Management and relevant committees.
5. Participate in investment briefings, market reviews and discussions with fund managers, investment banks, research houses and other industry stakeholders.

1. Monitor economic, financial and market developments and identify emerging risks, opportunities and trends that may impact the Group's investments and businesses.
2. Conduct market research, industry analysis and due diligence for new business ventures, strategic initiatives, mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and investment opportunities.
3. Analyse and review the financial and operational performance of existing business units, projects and investments, identifying areas for improvement and value creation.

1. Support and coordinate property-related initiatives, including development projects, leasing activities and engagements with consultants, advisors and other stakeholders.
2. Coordinate and support financing arrangements, including liaising with banks, financial institutions and funding agencies.
3. Support the planning, execution and monitoring of strategic investment, business, property and corporate finance initiatives to ensure timely implementation and achievement of objectives.
4. Prepare ad-hoc financial, investment, business and strategic analyses as required by Management.

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Investment Management or a related discipline.
• Professional qualifications such as CFA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ICAEW or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in investment analysis, corporate finance, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), equity research, asset management, investment banking, corporate advisory or a similar role.
• Experience in a public-listed company, financial institution, investment company, private equity, asset management or corporate advisory environment will be preferred.
• Candidates with strong experience in financial modelling, valuation and investment analysis are encouraged to apply.

• A proactive self-starter who is curious about investments, businesses, markets and emerging opportunities.
