Job Description
Job Responsibilities:Develop and implement climate risk tools and dashboards to assess and manage climate-related financial risksEnsure compliance with internal and external climate-related governance and policy requirements, including Climate Risk Policy, BNM's Climate Risk Scenario and Policy Document, TCFD, and other global/regional frameworksPreparation of climate risk analysis, reports and presentations for senior management, regulators, and other stakeholders
Job Requirements:A degree in Finance, Environmental Science, Risk Management, Statistics or a related fieldExperienced in corporate setting (preferably financial institution) to manage business needs of stakeholdersPossess quantitative skills i.e. analytics, data scienceESG/climate related certifications would be preferred (not mandatory)Climate scenario development and scenario expansion modeling experience or knowledge of risk modeling within a financial services setting Knowledge and experience with climate scenarios, such as NGFS, IEA, IPCC and other scenarios. This includes knowledge and understanding of the underlying integrated assessment models (IAMs)Familiarity with the increasing regulatory expectations facing banks related to climate risk
