Job Description


Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of data centre construction projects, including new builds, expansions, and renovations.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate project resources, including personnel, contractors, materials, and equipment.
  • Ensure resource allocation aligns with project needs and budget constraints.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to project teams to ensure that data centre facility designs meet operational, security, scalability, and sustainability requirements.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and report financial performance.
  • Identify and address cost-saving opportunities to optimize project spending.
  • Identify potential risks associated with data centre construction projects and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project risks and take proactive measures to minimize disruptions.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure that construction work complies with design specifications, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership to align projects with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Provide regular project updates, status reports, and milestone assessments.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and construction contractors.
  • Negotiate contracts, administer change orders, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Promote safety protocols, environmental responsibility, and sustainability practices in data centre construction projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
