- Supervise the review of accounting records, cost allocations, reconciliations, and resolution of discrepancies.
- Establish strong internal controls and ensure proper documentation across all financial processes.
- Own the end-to-end corporate tax compliance cycle — prepare, review, and submit accurate corporate income tax to Tax team.
- Manage and maintain the tax provision schedule, deferred tax calculations, and tax reconciliations in accordance with MFRS 112.
- Take full accountability for Withholding Tax (WHT) obligations on cross-border transactions, ensuring correct deduction, remittance, and reporting to LHDN.

- Act as the primary liaison with the tax team during audits, assessments, and enquiries.
ONE TEAM
- Manage and mentor a team of finance and tax professionals, fostering collaboration and continuous development.
- Partner with cross-functional teams — legal, procurement, HR, and operations — to identify tax implications in contracts, new business initiatives, and corporate restructuring exercises.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Big-4 auditors, and regulatory authorities.
- Collaborate with Group Finance and Treasury on Transfer Pricing documentation and related party transaction reporting (RRPT) requirements in line with guidelines adopted by Malaysia.
MOVE FAST
- Drive efficiency in financial operations, ensuring timely reporting and delivery of insights.
- Anticipate and adapt to changing tax regulatory priorities while maintaining accuracy and high performance.

- Act as a trusted tax advisor to internal business units, balancing responsiveness with strategic guidance to protect the organisation's tax position.
DRIVE INNOVATION
- Lead initiatives to enhance financial and tax processes, reporting practices, and system utilisation.
- Leverage analytical skills to identify tax planning opportunities, manage effective tax rate (ETR), and optimise available tax incentives.
- Champion the adoption of tax technology tools — e-Filing portals, tax provisioning software, and ERP-integrated tax modules (SAP/Oracle) — to automate routine compliance tasks and reduce manual effort.
- Drive digital transformation in the tax function by embedding tax data analytics, automated SST reconciliation, and real-time WHT tracking dashboards.
