Job description:
Job Summary
To oversee and monitor senior design engineers and design engineers work and assign tasks to senior design engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop BIM standards, documentation and workflow for project and asset management.
- Conduct internal training to team members on BIM.
- Liaise with clients and a variety of professionals including architects, consultants and subcontractors.
- Undertake structural calculations from time to time.
- Resolve design and development problems.
- Supervise and guide engineer & draftspersons assigned to the project; providing technical advice
- and coordinating with other relevant departments.
- Provide technical support and value engineering input to ensure cost effectiveness.
- To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company.
- Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
Skills & Abilities
- Able to operate the BIM software.
Expected Minimum Years of Experience
- Able to operate the BIM software.
