Making an impact. What will you do
- In this role, you will lead strategic sourcing and procurement activities for distribution and logistics categories across Singapore and Malaysia, ensuring cost-effective, reliable, and compliant supply solutions.
- Furthermore, you will develop and implement category strategies, manage tender and contract negotiations, and drive supplier performance to support business objectives.
- Supplier relationship management is part of your role, including identifying new suppliers, overseeing performance reviews, and ensuring compliance with contractual and SHEQ requirements.
- Additionally, you will partner with logistics and operational stakeholders to optimize transportation, warehousing, fleet, and distribution services while supporting business continuity.
- You will also lead continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives, leveraging data-driven insights to enhance procurement efficiency and operational performance.
Winning in your role. Do you have what it takes
- Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of procurement experience, including logistics, transportation, or distribution categories.
- Strong sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management capabilities.
- Proven ability to lead stakeholders, drive cost savings, and deliver operational improvements. Word]
- Proficiency in SAP, Ariba, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in the distribution, logistics, or oil & gas industry will be an advantage.
