Job Description

As a member of the Global Executive Recruitment team, the manager executive recruitment is a search expert across multiple functions, countries, and diverse international geographies for senior leadership positions. The role is responsible for managing full cycle recruitment, sourcing activities, Talent pipelines and market insights working together with hiring managers, HR leaders and interacting with passive and active candidates.

Key responsibilities :

  • Full cycle recruitment for all Abbott division from Director level upwards across APAC.
  • Translate critical hiring needs into a detailed road map and execute tailored recruiting strategy
  • Co-develop and implement effective sourcing strategies based on current and future business hiring needs, market, and geographical challenges
  • Keep track and update pre-defined recruitment metrics to report out when needed
  • Responsible for corporate databases and web research (incl. using social media and networks), referrals, professional associations, advertising activities and job boards as well as talent mapping to ensure a consistent proactive pipeline of suitable candidates by identifying and sourcing candidates
  • Promote our Employer brand when engaging with candidates through various platforms
  • Initiates, builds, and maintains relationships with candidates by ensuring regular contact via phone, email, and face to face interviews/touchpoints
  • Effectively manage candidate enquiries and thoroughly assess and validate candidate skills, motivation, and abilities through interviews
  • Responsible for ensuring all candidates CVs, queries and assessments are logged in the CRM following global executive recruitment governance and best practice
  • Additionally, this role will be responsible for producing new search methodologies, analysing their value to recruiting efforts, and making recommendations as to whether Abbott would benefit from investing in them for the future

Requirements :

  • University degree or equivalent with excellent level of English verbal and written (required)
  • Min. 7 years of search experience, preferably in a Life Science retained search firm
  • Min. 4 years of research experience in Developed Markets across MedTech Industry and Pharma
  • Successful track record in leading and managing between 8 and 12 executive searches at one time
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience of sourcing tools and technology
  • Advanced searching skills, with significant web research techniques in addition to phone research skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder engagement skills
