Manage and lead Financial Control Systems (GL, AP, AR , FA and Common Interface) section
Project manage and key support member in major projects related to Core Financial Systems and Interfaces
Supervise and review the integrity and robustness of the Core Financial Systems and a suite of generic Finance Systems interface rules used across the Group
Supervise and review the effectiveness and efficiency of the Core Financial Systems for delivering of the data for reporting and source systems enhancements related to Finance
Review daily critical GL integrity control accounts to ensure GL financial data intact
Provide System Support, administration and maintenance to Business Users/Finance Users (eg. RB, WSB, HOFMs) to ensure smooth operations.
Monitoring and trouble shooting control accounts and subledger to GL differences for job relating to Financial Control System and Interfaces.
Provide effective system support and ensure successful delivering of the task in accordance to TAT, integrity of GL data for reporting and systems reconciliation.
To be accountable and responsible for the integrity of GL data for reporting
To supervise, ensure prompt clearance and effective control in place for clearing suspense and critical GL integrity control accounts by following up with business users
Act as change agent, driving transformational change to improve the way Finance operates around end to end process
Managing technology team to meet project timeline and solve production problem log. Managing business users to meet their system enhancements/requirements
Managing and participating in projects impacting Core Financial systems and interfaces and providing effective BAU system support to ensure successful project delivery
To trouble shoot and assist in any Core Financial Systems and Interfaces problem
Maintain, update and improvise process to provide efficient daily service and operation
Maintain comprehensive and practical documentation to support the job and assist to conduct training
Knowledge sharing across the department
Job Requirements
Degree in Accounting/Banking/Finance/Technology (or equivalent)
Diploma in Accounting/Banking/Finance/Technology (or equivalent) with 5 years experience
Familiar with banking/financial institution operation with analytical skills will be an added advantage.
