Key Accountabilities Responsibilities and Duties
To lead a team of fit out coordinators, in ensuring the design layout are realized in a timely fashion in close liaison with contractors and consultants.
Pre-Fit Out / Construction Stage
- To provide design and creative inputs and technical coordination for shop fit out.
- To raise requisition and liaise with Project Department on base building work.
- To liaise with base building consultants pertaining to technical issues.
- To make recommendations to the Tenancy Approving Board with regard to fit out works.
Fit Out / Construction Stage
- To monitor the overall progress of work for tenancy fit out.
- To liaise and coordinate with Leasing, Building Services, Security and Safety Department with regard to fit out works.
- To monitor fit out works and ensure contractors comply with approved design and address any technical issues that may arise.
Post Fit Out / Construction Stage
- To carry out inspection before opening of shops with Leasing, Safety and Building Services Department upon completion of fit out works and certify compliance.
- To supervise rectification works in close liaison with Contractors and Leasing, Safety and Building Services Department in the event of non-compliance.
Special Project
- To head specific project work as assign by the management within the Company.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
- Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Must display professionalism and confidence
- Strong organisational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
- Minimum Degree in Architecture or Interior Design or equivalent with at least 5 years experience in retail fit out and design.
