RESPONSIBLITY
- Strategic Planning and Implementation: Working with team lead to develop and execute fund strategies and business plans across online and offline channels to meet financial targets.
- Product Due Diligence and Evaluation: Involve and conduct the fund due diligence and product evaluation process in collaboration with Fund Managers for onboarding new funds - public market or private market. In addition, continuously review and enhance fund due diligence framework to support regional basis.
- Relationship Management: Manage and enhance business relationships with asset managers, Unit Trust Management Companies, and internal stakeholders, including HLB SG, to secure quality products.
- Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with the Wealth Marketing team to formulate and implement effective product marketing strategies to drive Unit Trust business growth.
- Market Analysis and Feedback: Provide regular feedback on research developments and keep track on the market trends in the local and regional financial services market that helps in product designing.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Implement and enforce rules and guidelines to ensure compliance with all internal and external legal, compliance, and risk management requirements.
- Training and Development: Collaborate with Investment Counsellors to ensure frontline staff receive appropriate initial and ongoing training.
- Product Program and Policy Updates: Manage the update of product programs and policies to improve sales processes and meet regulatory requirements.
- System Enhancement: Work closely with the Wealth project team in providing user requirement specifications for system enhancements aimed at improving customer experience, productivity, and regulatory compliance.
- Business Development: Build up the bank's Unit Trust products fee income, assets under management (AUM), and overall sales.
REQUIREMENTS
Education/Qualification
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Banking, Investment, Finance, or a related field.
- Possession of professional investment-related certification is a strong advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in Wealth Management, Asset Management, Financial/Investment field, with demonstrated leadership experience for Team Head role.
