What You'll Be Doing:
Training and Development
- Facilitate in-house training programmes, particularly in soft skills, to enhance operational and service excellence.
- Design, develop, and structure new programmes, materials, training handbooks, facilitator guides, and related policies.
- Assess and monitor the quality and effectiveness of training conducted or attended, utilizing appropriate evaluation instruments and feedback mechanisms.
- Oversee the operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Review and evaluate digital and blended learning systems to ensure effective delivery and learner engagement.
- Conduct periodic reviews of the Orientation Programme to ensure content relevance and alignment with company values and standards.
- Identify, source, and recommend suitable programmes to address skill and knowledge gaps within the network.
- Stay informed on current learning trends, tools, and methodologies to strengthen training design and delivery.
- Provide guidance and supervision to Departmental Trainers in developing, implementing, and maintaining training modules that emphasize core operational and functional competencies.
2. Digital Learning
- Support the Digital Learning team in the design, development, and deployment of digital learning initiatives, including e-learning courses, microlearning modules, and blended learning solutions.
- Review and curate relevant digital content to ensure alignment with learning objectives and organizational priorities.
3. Human Resource Management
- Manage the productivity, efficiency, and quality of public and internal training sessions.
- Contribute to the research, design, and enhancement of training programmes and development frameworks.
- Collaborate with Location and Regional HR/L&D teams to gather feedback on learning effectiveness and employee development progress.
- Maintain accurate training records and reports to support internal audits and performance reviews.
4. Early Career and Internship Development
- Oversee and support the development of Early Career, Internship, and Global Operations Management Trainee (GOMT) programmes as part of
- Collaborate with business units and HR teams to design structured onboarding, learning, and rotational experiences that build foundational skills and leadership potential.
- Coordinate learning journeys, workshops, and mentorship initiatives to ensure holistic development and alignment with organisational values and competencies.
- Monitor participant progress, performance, and engagement to ensure meaningful learning outcomes and readiness for future roles.
- Evaluate programme effectiveness and recommend enhancements to strengthen the talent pipeline.
- Build partnerships with educational institutions and external organisations to attract, develop, and retain emerging talent.
5. Special Projects
- Conduct training programmes as required to support business priorities and new initiatives.
- Lead or participate in service observation initiatives and recommend corrective learning interventions to enhance performance standards.
- Support new location openings by conducting pre-opening training, service audits, and establishing L&D structures.
- Undertake additional duties or projects assigned by Management.
What You'll Need:
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Background in hospitality, training consultancy, or a service-related industry preferred
- Education: Degree holder or any higher
Language:
- Strong command of English (both spoken and written)
- Proficiency in additional languages is an advantage
Other:
- Travel is required on an as-needed basis
- Flexibility to work early or late hours as needed to accommodate meetings covering global countries across different time zones
