Job Purpose .
The Integration and Middleware unit manages enterprise middleware systems that enable seamless integration across diverse IT platforms and expose core backend services to internal channels and external partners. These systems are undergoing significant modernization while supporting multiple business and regulatory initiatives. The role requires a Technical Consultant to provide expert guidance and design robust, scalable middleware solutions.
Job Description .
Design and consult on architecture for Mulesoft API, Mulesoft ESB, BPM and Sterling Commerce.
Review design documents from internal teams and vendors.
Develop, test, and deploy solutions in line with approved frameworks.
Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with standards and quality assurance.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Provide architectural and design clarification to development teams.
Analyze production issues and guide developers in immediate resolution.

Qualifications
(Basic Degree/Diploma etc)Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent
Professional Qualification and/or Regulatory, Licensing requirements N/A
Relevant Work Experience Minimum 15 years of IT experience, including at least 10 years in middleware solutions.
Key Dimension of Impact .
The Middleware Team integrates 95% of the Bank's front-end channels with backend systems. The Integration Project Delivery team delivers 7,000-8,000 man-days annually, with a 20% growth rate. Converting resources to FTC will reduce vendor dependency and optimize integration project costs.

Expertise in BPM, Mulesoft API, IBM WAS, IBM ESB, and middleware integration.
Strong experience in system tech refresh, application upgrades, and migrations.
Ability to design scalable, reusable, reliable solutions aligned with digital banking initiatives.
Proficiency in APIs development using Mulesoft Anypoint platform.
Knowledge of mainframe and AS400 integration
Capable of designing secure APIs inline regulatory guidelines
Skilled in managing escalations, risks, and issues.
