Job Descriptions
1. Lead the Financial Reporting unit, responsible for:
- Annual financial statements including the statutory audit
- All financial report submissions to Group Finance and regulatory submissions to Securities Commission
- Transfer pricing documentation
2. Key member of the Management Reporting Unit responsible for:
- Supporting the core functions of management reporting and group reporting;
- Providing timely and accurate financial information to business unit for performance monitoring and strategy formulation;
- Supporting the functions ofbudgeting and forecasting;
- Liaising with business unit heads on performance management and
-Preparing financial information and analysis to the Board in a timely and accurate manner.
3. Timely and accurate submission of reporting to internal/external stakeholders
4. Provide timely and accurate financial information and analytical support to business units to facilitate business decisions.
5. Support the Head of Finance & Strategic Management in providing insightful business analysis and strategies.
6. Proper management of the overall external and internal audit processes.
7. Independently prepare good quality presentation decks for the Board and other stakeholders (ad hoc basis) that are precise in a timely manner with minimal guidance and corrections post review
8. Perform gap analysis for new / revised SC regulations
9. Independently handle the Management Forum secretariat role and prepare well-written minutes precisely and in a timely manner
10. Timely preparation of business analysis and management reporting deliverables to the Head of Finance.
11. Contributes positively by actively sharing information and listening and accepting other's view points. 12. Assists/supports team members to contribute to team efforts and to achieve team goals.
13. Evaluates current work practices and identifies areas where improvement is needed.
14. Keep abreast of regulatory guideline requirementsaffecting the industry and its impacts, review and update internal policies/procedures as appropriate.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance
At least 5 years working experience in accounting and finance related fields
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Audit experience will be an added advantage
Excel and Powerpoint skills - Intermediate to Advanced
